The Three Jacks: Home

Band and Dancers at Teatro Nacional, Managua

Hi there!  Glad you made it to our homepage!  Notice that dancers at the left, Carolyn ("C. Ho") and Kiera, ("Special K") are actually levitating above the stage.  (Cristina -- "C.Rod" -- at the right, is about to launch into her own bit of air-hang-time).  The kids at that show in Managua asked the dancers how they could "dance in the air."  (I have no idea:  I think it is all about curvature in the time-space continuum).

So, just back from a magical trip to Nicaragua, where we were working on raising visibility and fundraising for a wonderful children's charity - The Fabretto Foundation!  These guys do just fabulous work with abandoned and abused children.  Check out www.fabretto.org.

In the space of four days we managed two TV shows, one press interview, one acoustic show at Fabretto's San Isidro Center, a packed show at the Teatro Nacional Rubén Darío in Managua (shown here), a pre-show and a post-show VIP reception with the U.S. Ambassador -- and got to stand on the lip of the crater of an active volcano and peer into the column of sulphurous smoky gases.  (Nicaragua Park Service instruction:  "Park facing the exit.  If the volcano starts spitting rocks, lie under your car."  Can you imagine the U.S. Park Service being that nonchalent?  Hey, Toto, I guess we ain't in Kansas anymore.)

We love Nicaragua!!!!
