Our wonderful penny-whistle player, Barbara, moved to Peru - just in time for the earthquake on August 15, 2007.
We are planning to go down and join Barb and play several pre-anniversary concerts in Peru, to help raise funds for the kids STILL living in the wreckage out near Chincha. Coming with us are star dancers from The Breffni Academy of Irish Dance. (www.breffniacademy.com) We will be joined for shows there by dancers from the Chincha, Afro-Peruvian "El Carmen" tradition!

This is disaster central for where last year's earthquake happened. This is a site where The Peruvian American Medical Socity has started building a Medical & Community Center that we hope to help raise money for.

We have been commissioned to write and perform a musical score for this production of “MacBeth” by the City of Miami - Shakespeare in The Park series!!! (The Executive Director, Colleen Stovall, wrote and said she wanted “scary, thumpy, Celtic medieval music” and thought of us! Sounds about right!)
