Thank you so much for the wonderful show you put on last night at Gusman. It was such a pleasure; my first time seeing The Three jacks, but certainly not the last. It was doubly enjoyable, given that Ryder Trauma provided me such excellent care after my motor scooter crash this past January. God bless you all!

Great Interview this Sunday with MichaeI Stock, one of the many positive experiences right here in South Florida.
Robert, my husband and I are looking forward to the show and look forward to making our contributions at the concert for JMH. By chance do you have a couple of tickets left. I was unable to call the station when your generous offer was made. If not, I'll buy them the night of the show.
My first experience at JMH was in 1956. My ankle got caught in the spokes of a bicyle while I was riding on the back, ripped my damn ankle nearly completely off my foot. Anyway, JMH doctors saved my ankle and I still standing. Through the years JMH has been there for my family. My sister had a stroke in her 30's the doctors at JMH saved her life. My son as a baby had a serious injury at child birth. You guessed it, doctors at JMH were there for my family once again. I could go on and on. The important thing is that we make our way to Gusman this Saturday night to see the show and open up our hearts with some cash.
Thanks for your concern for this community.

I was at the concert and I like your music very much. The young dancers were very talented and I like how you are all having a good time together. We Peruvians are grateful that your band is doing so much to help the people of Pisco and south Peru. Most people forget about the earthquake already and the people down there suffer much.

Henk and everyone of The Three Jacks: we, the members of Rotary Club Lima Sunrise, had a great time with you guys: the 2 concerts you gave in Santa Ursula school in Lima were just stupendous, we had a great time with you, made friends and could spread our aims to make Rotary known in the community here and the projects we are working for. Very important and the clue for these concerts: you could raise a tremendous amount of money to support the installation of the Medical Center in Pisco, south of Lima. This city was very badly hit by the earthquake of August 15th, 2007 and still lacks of great parts of infrastructure.
Thank you again for the concert, the most effective funds raising, thanks to the sponsors and to Jorge Vera, the coordinator and last, but not least - the friendship!

Dear Henk,
last friday we had a great evening hearing new - ancient irish folk songs. Thanks for enriching our personal music spectrum and bringing us closer through music. I love all kind of sounds and I´m allways looking for new experiencies and surely this was a great one. Unfortunatelly I´m not able to read a pentagram, to sing during karaoke or play any instrument but thanks to bits and bytes, music is allways close to me and why not to say that I admire anyone who can play music.
There was a lack of beer and ale to cheer, sing and dance like irishmen coming back from see "bringing a new load of potatoes". Your acting and playing were great and as you have realiced space between each spectator was according to mother superior principels big enough to sit like well educated pupils , without chance of moving arround.
Finally we expect to hear soon the fusion you want to explore combinig irish folk with afroperuvian cajon. Surely a great surprise too.
Thanks again for all your help on improving health in peruvian Chincha and Pisco region.
Kind regards to all The Three Jacks,
Axel

Great disk. Love Bare-Ass Girl and Volunteers; makes me think we must have some Celtic genes. You should tour to Detroit or Ontario -- you'd be a big, big hit.

Arscht Wow. or should I say " Arscht ! "... a FANTASTIC concert last night. You guys were on, the stage setup and lighting were great, the room was open and suave, the Breffni’s were a treat, the afterparty was well lubricated, the crowd was connected, and the cause was life-affirming. Who could ask for more! best KK & GK

Dear Jacks & Jills --
I hope that tomorrow night's concert goes superbly and that you bring down the roof of the Arsht Center.
Breffni girls -- break a leg.
I wish I could be there with you. Have been yearning to double Stamates on the melody line, but will have to keep playing solo for a while here in Peru. (All I find here are other whistle players; two English fiddlers left town last week.)
May the Miamians open their hearts & wallets to you --
hugs,
Barb, aka just another Jill in Lima :)

I have not seen every single band in the Miami area, but this is definitely the best one I've seen. The show in Luna Star Cafe is a "must see". However skiffle night is a great experience and I can't stop recommending it to anybody I know. You guys rock !!!

Can't wait to see you Friday at the Luna Star on your new triangular wedge addition to the stage. Is it an isosoceles or scalene triangle and is it obtuse or acute? Us math teachers want to know.

Yeh, Dave. Do you remember dancing in the cold Pacific on a Peruvian beach with our pants legs rolled up, that night I invented "The Demon" (One shot of "Demonio de Los Andes" pisco, one shot of Tacama champagne, one shot jugo de cana. Take 2 = No Pain) . . .

First found Henk wandering with suspect persons in Honolulu. We later found ourselves around a piano at a posh Italian restaurant in Lima, Peru, shortly before Noreiga lost his gig in Nicaragua. Years later, we braved the squalls of Miami in Henk's small wooded Sharpie sailboat, embracing the seafaring life he occasionally celebrates in song.
A good friend o' mine passed away a few years ago. He toured Ireland (the birthplace of his parents) by bicycle in December (a bit lacking in judgment), riding from pub to pub, enjoying the pints, the tunes and the regulars. When I hear these tracks, I give a thought to Martin and his recumbent along the Celtic countryside.
Good memories, all around.

Greetings from Tunisia. I must be one of the Jacks' oldest fans (both age-wise and musically) as I first knew Henk before his voice had broken into that familiar gruff and raunchy lilt! We were at school together in Hertfordshire - now part of Greater London - and he's very kindly credited me on the sleeve notes of Trechery, Lust and Misfortune with having shown him his first chords. I'm really flattered; very happy that we've caught up with each other after 40-odd years; and think the new album is great! I'll do my best to get the punters here in north Africa addicted too! This is one experience they definitely must not miss.
All power to your elbows, Jacks and Jills. You're doing great and keeping the Celtic flag flying Stateside. I hope there'll be an opportunity to join you all for a jam (or should I say 'jelly') one of these days. I'll get practising those chords....

Saw you guys at Luna Star Cafe last night... first time .
Almost wore out one of your CD's my friend let me borrow before I finally got up to see you all in person.
Everyone put on a such a great performance. Jack's fiddle playing was an inspiration to me as an aspiring fiddle player. And the music....... quickens the heart , enlivens the mind, and stirs the soul... just great...just great.
